On Friday and Saturday, October 5th and 6th, Manifest's Drawing Center Studio will be open to the public during the Essex Studios Art Walk event.

Manifest staff will be on hand and light refreshments will be available.

Hundreds of drawings (and some paintings) from life will be on view. Many of which will be available for sale. These will be left 'in situ' in the 1700 square foot dedicated life-drawing studio space as they are during the weekly sessions. Fast, detailed, sketchy, gestural, exquisite, rough, and inspiring works will all be mingled together to reveal the vast culture of creativity these programs inspire.

The Manifest Drawing Center promotes, features, and explores drawing as a rich and culturally significant art form through the pursuit of scholarly activities. The Drawing Center Studio is one aspect of that Mission. Three figure drawing sessions are offered in this space each week, serving approximately 36 participants, young and old.

This is Creative Research on display! And a chance to see and collect works not often available in formal exhibits, by some of Cincinnati's most proficient life-drawing artists.

DRAWING SALE (benefit):
Some of the works on view will be available for sale hot off the studio wall! These will be marked with a price and artist's name. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Manifest Drawing Center. Artists such as Emil Robinson, Trevor Ponder, Carrie Nixon, Robert Anderson, Jason Franz, Tim Parsley, Rebecca Weller, and more will have work available for the benefit. Price ranges will vary from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.

PUBLICATIONS:
Copies of all 24 Manifest Press publications will be available for sale at the Art Walk event as well. All proceeds from sales of publications directly benefit future Manifest Press projects.
