Greetings!

Below you'll find the audition information for our last 2007/2008 Covedale
production and some of the 2008 Showboat Majestic productions.

We want to get the information out to performers/musicians/crew, etc so you
can make plans! Included in the information are the audition dates and
directors. The shows feature many excellent roles and opportunities.

Actors, here is a cold reading/ audition opportunity. I need? six males ranging in age from 20's to 40's, and one male 50's. No prep needed--you will be reading cold from scripts of my one-acts: Soldiers' Christmas (based on the 1914 Christmas truce) and The Footprints of the Polar Bear, this Saturday (details below). Both plays will have stage reading performances on Dec. 11 (One Night Only) at 7:30 pm at the Aronoff Fifth Third Bank Theatre as part of the Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative and Cincinnati Arts Association's New Voices Series.

"OTHELLO" performance dates Feb 6th - 9th and Feb 14th -16th 2008 (this is a public and schooltime production)

CPI and CAA are sponsoring the staged reading of TARTUFFE, a New Musical, at
the Aronoff Center, Fifth Third Bank Theater, on Nov. 13, 2007.

TARTUFFE, a New Musical - Book, music and lyrics by Jeff Olmsted.
Director: Robert Wood.
Music Director: Brian Hoffman.

Jeff Olmsted is still seeking two actor / singers.

1 - Valere (tenor) 18-25, the brave boyfriend of the ingenue.
2 - Mme. Pernelle (mezzo) 60-75, imperious, haughty, a bigot.

Ballet tech cincinnati invites dancers, tumblers and gymnasts of all ages and dance genres to audition for its Leaping for Literacy Production, Rikki Tikki Tavi, based on the popular Rudyard Kipling children's book . Auditions will be on Saturday, October 20th , 4-5:30 PM for dancers, tumblers and gymnasts age 5-10 and 5:30-7PM for age 11 and up and on Saturday, October 27th, 4-5:30 PM for dancers, tumblers and gymnasts age 5-10 and 5:30-7PM for age 11 and up.

Deathtrap by Ira Levin

The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts will hold auditions for this two-thirds thriller and one-third a devilishly clever comedy by Ira Levin, Deathtrap at the following dates and times:
Monday October 15, 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Tuesday October 16, 7:00 - 9:30 pm

New Stage Collective is holding auditions for the Cincinnati premiere of the Tony Award-winning baseball comedy Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg. This production runs February 14-March 9, 2008, and is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips.

New Edgecliff Theatre Announces Auditions for "Glengarry Glen Ross" by David Mamet.
