Accessibility

The Cincinnati Arts Association is committed to making the performing and visual arts available and accessible through a variety of services offered at the Aronoff Center (including the Weston Art Gallery) and Music Hall.

While our venues are welcoming to all individuals, we encourage guests who require any additional services to call us in advance at (513) 621-2787 [ARTS] to discuss their desired accommodations. In addition to confirming that the requested services will be provided, this helps us coordinate the accommodations with our venue staff and the production companies.

We abide by all state and federal laws concerning the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.

A Conversation About Accessibility – National d/Deaf History Month

In celebration of National d/Deaf History Month, we interviewed the Professor of ASL and Deaf Studies at the University of Cincinnati, Emma Kist, and contractor for Miami Valley Interpreters, Lindsay Nickels. With Emma, we discuss the importance of the arts, accessibility, and the need for connection. And Lindsay gives us a peak into how she prepares for signing interpretive performances.
